Some Awesomeness Fo Ryou Guys

This is one of our "emergency response" vehicles up here in South Dakota during the winter months. We have two of them, both 05 3500s. The second one is still haveing the bumper fabricated and powdercoated. The base authorized us three of them, but we convinced them to just give us two and let us deck them out. The MATTRACKS for the heavy duty trucks run $32k for a set. Its a fully custom fabricated front bumper with a 15k lb winch(I believe) each truck has about $36k worth of mods done to it but the main chunk obviously being the track system...drives through any and everything...its the poo...I am going out in it in a few minutes...be jealous.

Imagine if you had that in all wheel steering!

Does it ride like typical track equipment?

I know in my trackhoe, I get some *jump* when making tight turns; but I guess in snow, you wouldn't really notice.

So..ugh...wheres the vids already. :dunno:

When we were about to take it out this morning for "training" purposes, we had some stuff come up and the snow has been melting as fast as it fell, and I only have a week left up here.

No not really, at least none that I've noticed, its a really smooth ride but like you said its mainly for snow/mud/soft terrain purposes.
