Led Lights?

I have a question. Can anyone tell me what the led lights on the right rear door post on an 09 ecstb 1500 is? I just saw them as I was backing out of my garage.

they are for the back up sensors, there are 2 amber and a red, they light up when you get closer and closer to an object (amber, amber, then red when you get very close)
