Tire Fitting Problem

i just purchased a set of 315/75/16 bfg mudders. i plan on putting two inch blocks in the rear and new keys for the front which would lift the front about three inches. today one of my buddies said they still won't fit and i'll need another three inches of lift. what do you guys think? the tires are used so they are probadly are only 34 inches maybe a little less.

I'm far from a professional but I've been looking at several different lift kits for my 05 2500HD C-Cab 4WD. All the 6 and 7" kits I look at claim to fit up to 35/37" tires. I'd say your buddies are not far off from being right.

FYI, BAD idea. 2" max with keys ( i recommend no more than 1.5")

Depending on your wheel width and offset, you'll probably need at least 4" to clear those tires.

I run the same size tires on a 6" suspension lift and you can see how they fit in my sig picture. They'll fit with a 4" lift, but probably not without a little bit of rubbing.
