Air Shocks

I have Air Shocks on my '85, and would like to put them on the new one later on down the road. Anyone seen them somewhere?

I guess thats a more expensive way to go, but allows for more load leveling capacity. I wanted the shocks b/c they were like $60 for the set when I bought them for my '85. Might be the better way to go in the end I suppose. Thanks.

The air bags are a much better way to compensate for ride height when hauling a heavy load. Ride is much better loaded or unloaded.

I don't haul that much weight, that often to require the bags over the shocks. I was looking for something cheaper than $200 as well. Although I think the bags would do a better job overall, as you stated.

 

My '85 C1500 with stock suspension, other than the air shocks; carried 3750lbs to the scrap yard a few miles from home once.
