Regular Cab Rear Window Defogger

My truck has the snow plow prep package, assuming this is why I have a rear window defogger in a std/reg cab?

 

Anyone else have this option on there REG cab? Never seen it before.

I can tell you that the rear window defogger was standard on your truck,It was part of the trim level,It has nothing to do with the snow plow prep pkg.

Great thx! I was building one on their website and I found the same thing an LT package group considers that std.

I have an LS with the rear window defog. I also have the plow prep. package.

Correct,However for '09 its now optional on LS/LT models and included as part of the safety package.

Besides the 2 more cylinders, 1L of displacement, 2 extra doors, and back seat, my Rear Defrogger is the best improvement on my 2007 from my 1999.

my 00 rcsb also had the rear window defogger, loved it, made sure it was on the new truck too

No defog on mine. Heated mirrors yes. Rear defogger no.

If I had to choose, I think I'd pick the heated mirrors. With a regular cab, the whole truck gets like a sauna in a few minutes, and the rear defogger just help the back window. My mirrors always seems foggy or have snow/ice on them.

My 05 has heated mirrors and rear defog that work off the same button.

RCLB here with rear defogger. I never use it though. Rear window doesn't really fog up since the vehicle gets warm pretty quickly.

True, but it helps melt off the frost and crap in the winter.
