PDenali Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Anyone heard of Galaxy1000? Sounds interesting if it works. Touts to add bluetooth phone capability using the existing Onstar module. http://www.galaxy1000.com/
LeoS41280 Posted December 24, 2009 Posted December 24, 2009 Yes, I have seen that. They don't make one for GMT 900's yet.

I have a '05 Yukon and I'm thinking of trying one. I was looking at the Scosche BlueFusion, but I think I might try this one. I'm not sure I can use the BlueFusion and my Peripheral ipod interface.
bluemonstercali Posted December 25, 2009 Posted December 25, 2009 do you have to have onstar activated or just the onstar feature in your truck?
PDenali Posted December 25, 2009 Author Posted December 25, 2009 do you have to have onstar activated or just the onstar feature in your truck? I don't currently have Onstar active. Their website says that you can't use Onstar with the Galaxy1000.
LeoS41280 Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 Sounds like a nice unit, if you don't have or want on-star.
PDenali Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 Sounds like a nice unit, if you don't have or want on-star. If it works as promised. I'll let you know how it works out.
brims Posted December 26, 2009 Posted December 26, 2009 If you don't care about OnStar, another option is the BlueStar by CoStarTech; price looks competitive.
PDenali Posted December 26, 2009 Author Posted December 26, 2009 If you don't care about OnStar, another option is the BlueStar by CoStarTech; price looks competitive. Thanks, I'll look into it. I have not used Onstar for several years now.
