Well it's the second winter with my Silverado and may I say that I love this truck!!! It holds the road in the snow like a rock! I don't mind driving it in the snow at all!! Actually it's a lot of fun! The 4X4 Auto is amazing and that combined with the All Terrain tires is awesome!! Anyhow I just felt like sharing this. LOL :flag:

I had about a half hour drive home on un-plowed roads in blowing snow too!

I have to agree with the original poster. This is my first winter with my Sierra and I am truly impressed with how it handles the snow and ice. We have only had two or three storms so far but the new ride did very well. Even with the factory tires it holds the road very well. Every day I learn to appreciate this truck and it's capabilities a little more.

I'm with ya on that one Darrick....I love driving in the snow and with my truck it's even better. AUTO does work great. Sometimes it's fun to turn off the 4x4, traction control, and stalbilitrac and do some mind bending drifting and 180's...We have some real large parking lots near us and it's some fun.... :flag:

This truck is by far the best truck I've ever had...I love it.

i have not used a GMT900 4x4 in the snow, but i am still very impressed with GM's GMT800 4x4 system. the 2003 burban i have with about 145,000 miles has never had a problem with the 4x4 system and is even better than my silverado in snow. the G80 is definatley worse in the snow though, it makes it so easy to drift
