Hey everyone,

I did some searching on the forum and other sites but I can't find the neccesary info for tire size. I was looking into getting KMC rockstars wheels however I don't know what the max tire size I can get without lifting. I have a 2009, Reg Cab, Long box, RWD Sierra 1500.

I would appreciate any info that anyone may have on the subject.

Thanks in advance.

in my opinion 20's inch are the largest i would go for, because you still get great handling and looks, I don't like how the 22's or larger looks on them...

Thanks for the answer however i was looking more for an opinion more on the lines of tire size and not wheel size

But I will keep your thoughts in mind in terms of 20's. I'm still not sure if I want to lift or lower.

I have 275/55-20 on my 20 inch rims, to me they give the proper height and width for a 20 inch on the silv/sier's. If you keep the truck stock that's a good look. But it's what you like and what you're using it for. You can alway go with wider tire which is the 1st set of numbers and then a higher tire which the 2nd set of numbers. I think a higher tire but same width would look good also. What ever informed decision you make, I'm sure you'll enjoy...

Thanks for taking the time to put that together. I really do appreciate it.

I'm really just going for the look. It will be mainly to haul my detailing gear, camping, and whatever else I decide to do with it. I don't intend on taking her off road although I am sure I will be tempted.

I was looking at a possible rough country level.

There is even a sweet deal(IMO) for bushwackers and I was thinking of sanding it down and painting it summit white to match the truck.

Anyways back to the talk of tires. If I can improve the look without sacrificing much of ride quality that would be fantastic. I'm torn with getting 18 or 20 Ballistic Jesters.
