Anyone Ever Try A Passlock Ii Immobilzer

im trying to figure out how i can completely remove the passlock II system from my truck. i understand you need to bypass it for a remote starter but i want it gone for good, and i recently removed the aftermarket alarm and remote start, and i don't plan on putting it back in. i found a couple bypass modules out there, anyone ever tried one?

A tuner can disable it in the ECM, that way you can drop a newer engine in something else that doesn't have all that stuff.

 

Maybe not for the older systems, I'm not sure.
