Rpm Stumble

I've noticed in the last 24 hours that if I'm sitting still in my truck and shift from drive to park or neutral to drive etc most of the time now there is a hard stumble down in the rpms almost killing the truck but then after a second it climbs back up to 600rpm and is fine. This will also happen sitting still at a stoplight as soon as I release the brake and touch the gas it'll stumble but after a second the rpms come to life again and the truck leaps forward. No wierd shifting or anything is there some sort of transmission solenoid on the side of it or something that could cause this? Asking about that because a buddy mentioned some vague possibility. Thanks

I do show a right bank o2 sensor code... could he be the culprit?

Depends if the code is for the front or rear sensor of the right bank.

How do I know?

the code tells you.

The front. The code will be bank 1 or 2 sensor 1 or 2.

So the autozone man telling me it was the right bank doesnt that mean bank plus whichever 1 or 2 means right?

You need him to tell you the actual code it pulls up

It will be a P#### and correspond to a description of that code from a book...

P0131 ----O2 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 1) For example. That shows you the forward sensor on bank one is gone. This may be accompanied by other codes too...depending on whats going on.
