Any ideas what could be wrong? Thanks for your time!

It looks like everything goes through the passenger door module and then off to the BCM. Even the light on the mirror. Here are some diagrams, hopefully they will help. First I would check power and ground at the passenger door module, then the different inputs/outputs... Good Luck!

Don't a just love it when they over engineer the simple stuff! Also, if you have access to a scan tool that can get into the body control module there may be codes in there. Especially since the BCM and Pass. door mod. comunicate on the class 2 data stream, oh and if there are codes in the BCM they generaly do not set any warning lights on the dash...

but if it was a fuse... It wouldnt work at ALL right?...

Yes you're right, unless there is a crack in the fuse and could make it an intermittent problem.... But not likely. I think a lot of people don't know or forget that the fuses are circuit protection similar to a circuit breaker in your house. The only way they fail is if the circuit is overloaded. Now in a house this usualy means you had something plugged into an outlet that pulled too many amps, well on a vehicle every circuit is designed to draw a certain amount of amps and if a fuse blows that means something on that circuit has failed. It could be a wire shorted to a ground or a component that is the problem, but fuses just don't "go bad." If the problem is intermittent replacing the fuse might make it work for a while but usualy it fails again eventually.

I just got back from holidays but i figured out the problem with my door before i left.It must of been a computer problem with the truck or the command start.I unhooked the battery overnight then re-hooked in the morning and everything was fine.

You had logic lockup, there is a reflash for it if it happens again. Before flashing the module it needs to be unlocked by cycling power to it like you did.

Some customers may comment on any of the following conditions:

• The RKE key fob does not function.

• The RKE has a very limited range.

• The passenger door will not unlock from the passengers or drivers door switches.

• The passenger door window is inoperative.
