Does anyone know the part number for the factory 6 CD changer radio? Thinking about upgrading my single CD, curious what the price is? thanks.

25941920 is the part number of the 6-disc CD changer in mine.

MS3DALE, does this new unit need to be reprogrammed? I found some new take offs on ebay, seller says they need to be reprogrammed? what does a dealer charge for that? thanks again.

they are VIN coded and the dealer must reprogram the new VIN or the vehicle thinks it's stolen and locks it up. prices vary.....some try to rape you and others charge as low as 35

even a new unit needs to be programed?? or the does the truck automatically identify it?

Thanks for all the info guys, but after some thought (and more searching here) it looks like an MP3 player is more cost effective (and easier) solution for this.
