What Wheels Offset

Ive been searching for the past two weeks trying to find the right offset for my truck. called one tire dealer today and they said from 20 to 35 which seems really high. then i looked at pics of truck with 18 offset and they looked good but might stick out a bit. I'm going to get my truck leveled when i get wheels. Ive been really considering the kmc XD 18" monsters. i dont want the wheels or tires sticking out of the fenders

looks like they come in either 18x9 18 offset 5.71 backspacing or 35 offset 6.38backspacing. what size would fit my truck best do you think? or what do you run on your wheels. please help.

Thanks

I think 5.5" of backspacings about perfect.. so I'd go wit the 5.71

+1. Going with the 6.3" backspacing could cause issues, depending on the tire size, such as rubbing the sway bar, etc.

Sorry I'm not up to speed with the lingo around here, but I am assuming that when you say you are going to level your truck you mean you are going to raise the front to be leveled not lower the rear. If you are raising the front end +18mm would not be that bad depending on your choice in tires. +35mm is more suited for a lowered nnbs because it will tuck, and may give you trouble if you are trying to run a tire that is a lot wider than a stock tire. If you are trying to keep the over all stock diameter you should be fine either way.
