Sister just picked up a 2010 Nissan Maxima, fully loaded and I must say it is a very nice car!

New exterior body styling is very sharp, powerful looking. Interior is very nice, a little tight for my size 6,4" but it does make you feel like your in a sport car. Push button ignition, heated seats, heated steering wheel was awesome!

Drives very nice and I couldnt believe the power of the 290HP V6. It pulled very strong, had me gripping the wheel tight and smooth right through all 6 gears.

Turned the traction control off and I was spinning through first three gears.

Anyways just thought I would let everyone know about it, if you get a chance take one for a drive, FUN!

Front wheel drive steering torque pull!!! Thats why I enjoy rear wheel drive!

They are very good cars! We had a 2007, and it gave us zero problems!

And the Maxima doesn't have any gears (has the CVT transmission).

I will never drive a push button start car, "hold for 3 seconds if you're not dead" screw that.

I rented a Nissan Murono with one of those CVTs, gutless POS and it wasn't the low end trim either.

Nissan is the Dodge of the Japanese auto makers. They just never seem to be able to get ahead with any of their products and can never sell lots of their products, even though they may have some good products.

I'm assuming this one had a 6 speed manual.

Nissan dropped the manual 6 speed gearbox starting with the 2007 model Maxima. I never drove any car or other vehicle with a CVT auto transmission and I heard that it feels a little weird at first.

I have an 08 Maxima fully loaded and I love it. Feels, drives and handles like a sports car but big and roomy enough to fit me and 4 other passengers comfortably. Never had any problems with it except for the autodown feature on one of the mirrors which they fixed under warrenty. It has some crazy pick-up and go power which you do not expect. And the CVT while weird at first, is amazing once you get use to it. When i first got it I smoked a new mustang GT. These cars have a lot of power and lots of features for the price. I dont care if it is like the dodge of japanese cars because I think that Hondas are over rated, over priced, and the astectics are just plain terrible. Toyotas well, well they're toyotas, enough said.

Was it Nissan, or maybe Honda...who had the power window switches catching on fire if they got damp?
