Borla Muffler

i have a borla muffler and wanted it installed with a dual out behind the tires.

 

The only thing is I cant find anybody that can mandrel bend stainless they can crush bend em though.

 

Should I get the aluminum mandrel bent pipes or stainless crush bent?

 

I do not want it to rust out, thats what im afraid of.....

aluminised steel will rust after a while most of the time getting hot cold hot cold usualy get to the steel after a while...look under any trucks that are a few years old and you'll see, stainless last wayyyy longer but don't stay shiny for long eighter it gets dark after time unless you scrub them with SOS every other week end, dont forget its a pipe to get smoke away not a set of mag wheels. Which borla muffler do you have????

I have aluminized pipe on mine. The difference in price of both, I could replace the exhaust 3-4 times with aluminized before I caught up to the stainless. its not like it's going to rust out in a week...in a salt belt climate you would get 3 years out of it before it started to get bad enough to replace...are you going to have that truck in 9-12 years???

 

 

Or in 3 years from now for that matter???

yea ill have this for a while...(so far i think so)...i got the borla pro xs 3 in dual 2.5 inches out.....im gonna go with the stainless heres what its gonna sound like....http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ePh3cPhCXEU
