Looking For A Center Console

I bought one of these last night. This is the longer version of the center console for the GMT900 "true truck" dash. I searched ebay daily for these for a year and a half without luck. The LTZ/SLT style consoles are aplenty, but these are rare. I figured I would share the information for anyone else who may be looking for one:

Does anyone know if the long center console for the flat (LT1) dash from a 2010 GMC Sierra will fit in a 2009 Silverado? I have also been looking at the one on ebay and just want to be sure before purchasing one.

As long as you have the LT1 "true truck" dash it will fit.

Does anyone know if there is a different insert that fits in the console that has the LT1 dash? I am trying to find one that does not have the deep well in the front of it so I can put an amp under the console.

That "shallow" insert is for trucks equipped with Bose audio systems. The part would be a direct swap with the one with the deep storage well. PM MS3DALE and request the part number...he can even order it for you. FWIW, his personal truck is equipped with that insert.

By the shallow insert, are you talking about the one you can see on the outside of the console or the one when you open the lid? I am hoping the one outside the console. Thanks Kilo

The one that is visible from the outside...it's the insert that is right in the front of the console, right by where it meets the dash. The one included in the ebay sale that I have is the deeper one for a truck not equipped with Bose audio. The Bose amplifier sits in that position at the front of the console, prohibiting the use of that deep storage well. Stand by and I'll try to locate a picture...

I have the one that goes all the way to the dash and would gladly trade for a seat with th storage part under it that locks. It would be a great place to lock my hand gun when i have to leave my truck and dont want to carry it.....and yes i have a permit,lol.

If you would have offered before I bought and installed the one from ebay, I would have taken you up on it...I have my original jumpseat with the locking storage sitting in my garage.
