6.0max Posted March 1, 2010 Posted March 1, 2010 yeah I know there is many other topics who discused about those tire pressure sensors but after probably reading them all ...no I dont understand yet... If I buy a new set of aftermaker rims do I have to get 4 new sensors that will go on the wheels then calibrate them with the truck??? (dont laugh this is what i figure out by my self)
brims Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 You would need to get a new set or take the set out of your current wheels. Mounting them to the new wheels is the trick. Some wheels may not be able to accept the sensors you currently have.
Silverado4x4 Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 When tire sensors pressure first came out I thought they were a PITA I almost built a box to mount the sensors in then put 35 psi in the box and throw it under the seat, problem solved what do ya think?
6.0max Posted March 2, 2010 Author Posted March 2, 2010 i definatly think like you but that whould happen in a perfect world which we are not in.... do i have to take new sensors from the dealer and are they bolted or what....if i buy aftermarket wheels will it be identified if my sensors may be used??? I dont what that iritating light saying chek tire pressure in my face all the time.
