2003 Z71...code Reader Won't Read

Hello,

 

I have a 2003 Chevy Z71, and the check engine light has came on. I have taken the truck to two different places, and both of them said their reader wouldn't read my truck code at all. The reader would say "not connected". They suggested it may be a fuse, but which one could it be?

 

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

ECM A i believe is the power fuse to your Plug.

also check your cigarette lighter fuse..

yeah...I wasn't sure, I think ECM A is actually power to the ECM come to think of it...

 

I use Mitchel's for this stuff....never can be 100% sure without a diagram in front of me....I work on so many wiring issues on so many different vehicles.
