Need Good Leather Cleaner

I have the tan leather in my 08 and the seats really like to attract dirt. What is a good cleaner for them that will get out the "engrained" dirt? My door panel are also tan and they are doing the same thing.

I use Meguiars Leather Conditioner and Cleaner wipes.

should work on leather..

 

protip: it also stops the squeak on the door seals way better than silicone spray.. and it protects them.

 

also, it says non-greasy, but you definitely need to wipe it down well or dont use very much or you'll have a greasy butt. and nobody wants that.

Uhhhhh no. That's not only not a "cleaner" -- it's basically TurtleWax's knock-off of Armor All, which isn't a leather conditioner.

 

I would say that on average, the Meguiar's products Jenna mentioned are a good choice. If you have more severe dirt ground into the seats and door panels/dash/etc., I use a mix of woolite detergent and warm water (about a quarter to half an ounce of detergent in 32oz. of water). Soak a microfiber towel in the solution and scrub the seats/door panels with it, and wring the towel out in the solution every so often to rinse out the dirt. Follow that wet towel with a dry towel to remove any other dirt on the surface, then use your favorite leather cleaning and conditioning product to finish.

 

I've been using that method on clients' vehicles (I run a detailing business) for years with great results.

They sell a cleaner and a conditioner among many other products. You need to use the conditioner after the cleaner. I have used it on 3 cars, the couches and several coats.

I use this on everything in the car except the glass. Have been using it on my leather, marine vinyl, dashboards, etc. for the past 5 years now. It cleans, shines and protects but doesn't leave that greasy armorall feeling.
