Excuse my ignorance but as of yesterday my AC only will blow air on the high (5). what could be the problem and how much do you think it would cost to get fixed? Thanks guys!

Blower motor resister, $60 approx. This is the problem but only if the speeds also do not work on heat or any other combination. Try all fan speeds with heat on/off ac on/off Let us know.

That resistor sucks. I've replaced it twice in my 04 in 4 years. Buy it from GM or look carefully at the mounting hole pattern. My 04 takes the resistor with the offset hole which is the one NAPA and most part stores don't have.

Yup it's the resistor. I had to replace it in my Grand Prix as well. On the plus side it's a relatively cheap fix.

lol...yeah im in florida its 80 degrees here...but thanks guys for the insight...where abouts is the resistor located?
