Any of you on the fence as to what tune/handheld to get.......Solve your problem eith a diablo/Lew set up.

Lew sent me a tune via email and whala....this thing has now earned the name FREIGHT TRAIN.

Wow the difference between the diablo tune and the Lew tune will rock your world. Service is instant.

Lew is a guy that is a Predator enthusiast and has the Diablo tuning software to tune more parameters. It's an added cost to the Predator but gives better results than the handheld alone. He may work for Diablo, but I don't think he does.

Seriously, Lew is the man. Ryan, here is what happens. You get a diablo preditor/trinity, not sure if trinity will work for you, but if you go to diablos website, and look at the products, it will tell you which one to get. They run around 325 I think, or look up the model you need and search used. Just make sure you get one that has been restored with the original tune. Once you got the handheld(diablo/trinity), you can load an 87 canned tune or a diablo tune (91/93). You can then go through all the parameters you want to modify the loaded tune until you get what you want. Then after a while, you can contact Lew and get him to custom tune your truck. He will need your stock tune and loaded/modified tune sent to him along with a data run that the diablo is capable of. He then sends you a tune via email that you load on your diablo from your pc and then transfer it to your truck. Wipe your pants and go for a ride. The initial cost covers life long tunes from Lew and a service second to none. Guaranteed!!!!!!!!!!! He worked with me for most of Sunday as I am completely computer illiterate. Hope this answer your ? The BIG difference here is that everything is done via email and there is no need to take your computer out your truck to mail off for an upgrade or future mod.

predators from maryland speed are 325, and come with free shipping and the necessary pc interface cable/power adapter set you need. the Trinity is 599...

Just make sure you get one that has been restored with the original tune.

this is not an issue when you buy a brand new one. don't buy a used one, you'll have no warranty, and you can't be sure you'll get one that is "unlocked" and ready to use on your vehicle until you get it and go to try to tune your truck with it, and by that time, it's too late - then it will cost you another $129 to have diablosport unlock and reset it for you - so there goes your bargain used-price right out the window.

You can then go through all the parameters you want to modify the loaded tune until you get what you want.

if I do a custom tune for ya, then no need for you to adjust anything yourself with the tune, other than tire size if you have non-stock sized tires on there... everything else I will do in the custom tune, based on data from the data logs you'd provide me.

I agree with your statement, but a preditor tuned vs a cmt /preditor is not the same thing. I believe they have access similar to the EFI live tuning capabilities.

As far as Cheerleading is concerned....Brother, check me out in the cummins forums and a few of these. I praise a positive product and service that I have firsthand experience with. I don't piggy back anyones posts. I will never bash something or service I have not used. These boards are for education, amusement, and input, to help fellow enthusiasts. I started my own post regarding my experience and am yet to find another product out there that allows you to do what you can with the diablo. If you know of one let us know.

most vile fool was recently banned so its been pretty quiet).

If you DARED to post ANY comment or experience on any other tune or PCM

burn other than the BB/Justin deal the cheerleaders would be on you like a

pack of wolves with the insults and slams................

Even the previous "flavor of the month" Wait 4 Me tune crowd would get out

of hand at times but the BB crowd chased them off !

a preditor tuned vs a CMR /preditor is not the same thing. I believe they have access similar to the EFI live tuning capabilities.

yes... the diablosport CMR tuning software is like hp-tuners, efi-live, etc etc...

and a custom CMR tune made for a predator to load, is different than the canned preset diablo tunes that come in the predator, heh...
