A/t Tires: Nitto Terra Grappler Or Goodyeay Duratrac

Truck is in the shop getting leveled at the moment (through Bilstein leveling shocks)

 

Im wondering which tire to install using the stock 18' z71 rims. I've narrowed it down to the Nitto Terra Grappler and the Goodyear Duratrac

 

Size: 285 or if i can i'll go higher (maybe 295?)

 

I dont want the tire/rim to stick out, leave it the way it is if possible. Truck is going to be driven highway, and weekends on a country road.

 

 

Which tire is better, your opinion and perhaps why and your experience.

well maybe you can help me - the only tire i find under duratrac is the 295/65/r18 - would that fit with 1.5 leveling kit? thinking of heading to a goodyear retail this weekend to find the answer.

take a look at Cooper Zeon LTZ. Pretty nice tire.

Your tire/rim won't stick out as long as you are staying with the same rims. It is the backspacing/offset that moves the tire/rim in or out of the fender well.
