Which tuner is better? i want one but don't know which one to get. please share your experiences with them. i have a 2004 silverado with a 5.3 liter. i am getting about 13 miles to the gallon and would like better fuel economy. i also wouldn't mind a little extra horsepower.

Your poll is flawed, that's why there is no votes so far, because you have 2 differents polls; and they both require a vote. You need to edit it down to one poll and list the bully dog, and Superchips Flashpaq as vote options on the one poll question.

how does the black bear tune work? will it always stay in the computer system? or if the battery dies will it erase? once they decide what settings are best for my truck....is it a code that is plugged into the computer with a type of scanner?

Ditto get a Black Bear tune............ It is worth the extra dough for the extra PCM....... If something goes wrong you have a EXTRA PCM that is already flashed to swap to............

with the blackbear tune, the new program stays on the computer. its not going to go away or erase if the battery dies. i bought the extra ecm/tcm so i would be able to keep my stock ones stock. on the gmt 900 the engine and tranny have seperate control modules but on the gmt 800 i think the one controls both. i bought new ones in case i needed to take it in for warrenty work. you will swap out your factory computer for the one that blackear sends you.
