Dunno man, went on a 700 mi road trip this weekend and it rained for 500 of them. My drivers side tail light is all fogged up. I'm out of the 3/36 warranty. Haven't messed with it yet to see if I can find the leak. I don't think it was made in China, but who knows. Below average in my book.

That sucks......... My mothers Crown Vic waited till 37000 to start peeling the paint off the top. Dealer WOULD NOT BUDGE. I ended up painting that entire car.....

Then again 2004 Pontiac Montana. Front headlamps and turn signals. Replaced under warranty MANY MANY TIMES, I actually lost count. The last time they warranted them they replaced all sockets at the same time (service right said it probably was the sockets, SO I said CHANGE THEM ALL ON WARRANTY THEN, he did).. Drove away to my store got 3 tubes of clear silicon removed sockets put silicon around the hole under the rubber gasket. Inserted Socket and twisted in. Put the silicon all the way around each lamp's clear face to the gray plastic. That was 2007 when they replaced everything. Here it is 2010 headlamps fill with water (in the rain or at the car wash) and I have already replaced the turn lamps! (Company car)

Just wait till they are no longer fogged up, and run a new bead of silicone around to seal them up correctly.

The problem is probably the sticker that says "Made in China".

And that means what, what isnt made in china, quality there is no different then anywhere else, even here depending on the product.

Fog in the new light kits are typical, it may do it a few more times then stop. Most of the companies add a little note saying that it is of the norm and not to worry, but adding an extra bead of silicone doesn't hurt either. My headlight and taillights both did it, and they both said in the installation instructions that they would, and they have stopped....hope this helps

i have noticed mine do it a couple of times. depending on humidity and weather. they dried right out and seem to be fine though. i thought about pulling them off and adding silicone to them, and after reading this i might go do that soon..

yeah, sorry for bringing up a dead post, but i had those on my 07 sierra, first set smoked the white LED's and fried 3 fuses...stockers went back in. Got the 2010 silverado, put the bermuda blacks into that (for the silverado---the sierra versions looked better) and those went back last week. They have either had moisture problems, (and sealed them more than once) and the black paint on the outer edge was peeling off. I've had nothing BUT problems with the IPCW--and the same issue with the 3rd brake light. I have a RECON in it now and it still looks as good as the day i bought it and no moisture issues. IPCW has not impressed me in the elast.

I've had the IPCW lights in my silverado for three months now, they are still working perfectly. Hopefully these last, especially for the price we pay for em.
