Bed Liners

Im in the market for a bed liner for my rig. I cant decide on a spay in liner or one of those plastic drop in liners. Ive had Rhino Liner in the bed of my 84 Chevy and it didnt hold up worth a damn. Peeled off. I was just wondering which spray in liner companies all you truck bed abusers have used and which ones hold up the best? I haul everything from gravel, fire wood, scrap metal, dirtbikes, pallets, etc. Thanks

Last two trucks had the Line-X and the only thing I have to say is I love it. I am like you, haul any thing and every thing, constructionb debris, rocks, gravel, you name it......

It is not the product you need to worry about....it is the guy doing the prep work you need to worry about. If it is not prep-ed the right way it will not hold on. Follow the manufacturer's directions and you will be good.

I have tried the plastic liners and found that debris would always get under the plastic and if you are not careful, will cause wear to the paint.....I would take out the liner every second time I washed the truck just to get it clean......not so much fun, would rather get the whole truck dirty.

Line-x all the way baby! A little salty pricewise, but most def worth it! I use mine hard, and no chips, flaking or any probs at all! I recommend going over the bedrails too.

I got the Line-X in my '08, over the rails also. In my experience the drop-ins are prone to abrading the paintin the bed floor and also along the sides. No chipping, flaking or any other problems, so far.

I have always had a drop in ! But yet again I don't have a driveway

queen and use my truck as intended..................

Always hauling a load of crush, construction debris, rebuild materials

etc............. Could care less about scratching the paint underneath

the liner. When I trade it in the dealer takes the beat drop in out and

tosses it away exposing a clean and shiny bed.....................

I love my spray in liner, would never go back to plastic again! Don't have to worry about bed rusting under a plastic liner any longer, can take alot of abuse and keeps cargo from sliding around like it used to with plastic.

Prep is extremely important, like someone said..it needs to be done right, or it won't hold up.

I use Liine-X with a factory rubber mat on the floor. I also have a Leer canopy that keeps the sun off the Line-X finish. Most spray in liners will fade and begin to turn white in the sun.

The sun fading was confirmed by my Line-X dealer before install. The finish does not crack, peel.
