Gmt900 4wd Gauge Light Adapter

is there a difference between having the 4wd control on the left or right of the steering wheel?

If so, which one is it for?

this one is the for the one on the right of the steering wheel , sorry, forgot to mention that....I do not know the difference, but mine was on the right.
