Vett Servo

So i was just reading up on some old threads and ive noticed alot of people talkin about "vett Servo" what is it, What does it do as in advantage wise, Where can i get it for my truck and how much do they cost?

Its actually a Corvette Servo. Its a trans part that is used to hold the bands. You get them at your local dealer online or at any parts store. They usually cost 15 bucks and a quart of fluid in some cases.

 

It will make your trans hold its gear tighter...and shift quicker...most people only do the 1-2 servo...but there are 2-3 and 3-4 ones as well...but if your trying to get up and go its usually from a stop...and only to about 60-70MPH...hence only the 1-2 shift.

Yep, that about sums it up, didn't have much reason to change my 4th gear servo or anything so just the 1-2 for me and it feels much better. Got mine at www.oregonperformancetransmission.com for $16.99 + shipping

Do some more searching, there are a million posts about them, and oregon has them cheaper on ebay
