I assume you did this because you like the looks of it better without it? It's there for better aerodynamics, less air going under the vehicle, but it's your truck and you can obviously do as you please.

I thought that too, but I removed mine recently for some minor off roading I had to do on my hunting property, and STILL got 19.4 mpg on a recent road trip (hand calc'd too, DIC said 19.9)

I don't think you will see a difference in MPG's by taking that piece of plastic off. I sure haven't.

Yeah noticed no difference on mine when it was stock height, its lifted now so my mpg went to shit anyways lol.
