Exactly...I wonder how a certain automaker tried to discredit a women who's SUV rolled over leaving her severely injured. When $368 MILLION is on the line...you can bet that automaker discredited that poor, injured, paralyzed woman...

Why Toyota is "evil" for doing it but no one else is, is interesting...

Because Toyota "was" the company that could do no wrong and now that they have, they are being punished by the media and those like me who have been sick of the BS Crapota has been putting out over the years about how superior their product is.

I'm OK with that other than the fact that it is nothing but fanboy bullshit.

Toyota DID get a lot of phony props from the media idiots. They did and still do make good products, but they make mistakes just like any other manufacturer (like GM). Don't think for one minute that the lovely media would not be doing the same witch hunt smear job to GM right now if they were the ones on the hot seat.

So again...your beef is with the media...not Toyota...

Toyota earned their reputation...by building good, reliable automobiles. Yes, they are bland as hell...but they are reliable.

Having said, Toyota is not for me...I would buy a Hyundai or Honda before a Toyota...
