Usa Spec Ipod Adapter

Anybody have any problems with these. I bought one about a month ago and put it in. The first one did not work at all. The CD unit would not recognize it. I called tech support and after spending an hour going over all the stupid stuff they decided it was defective. So I pay a $70.00 deposit to have another one shipped out, and at first it works perfectly. The wiring is all already done from the first time so I just plug it in and for a few weeks I love it and it's perfect. And now it has started shorting the left side after it warms up. It will play perfect at first, and after about 10 mins the left speackers sound quite and distorted. I tested and the CD and radio sounds perfect from the left side, only the ipod. I'm really getting ticked because 2nd one already, $70.00 deposits when it is their crap, and no option to send it back for refund. I be stuck with it.

You would think that someone would make an interface that is problem free. It looks like

every make has been discussed in these forums as having glitches and / or failure, from the interface cable(s) to the

gateway to the installation, etc etc.

 

I still haven't made up my mind which one I should get for my 06 Denali

I do at least have a 1 year "limited" warranty. Already being on the second one and having problems though doesn't look hopeful to me. It looks like a well made product. And sounds like one when it's working. I'm hoping it's not just crap though.
