Today was at the grocery store and noticed a box of american flags for sale.  On the side of the box it said MADE IN CHINA.  WTF ???

It is quite sad.  If I'm going to buy something for the sole purpose that it is for pride in america then it dang well better be MADE IN THE U.S.A.  When I was in vegas there was this really cool knife w/ an eagle head and flag carved into it w/ a display stand.  I thought it would be cool to put up in my knife/sword display at home, then I saw that it was made in taiwan or something like that.  So, I said forget that, I mean, it defeats the purpose of showing your support for america when you are actually supporting some shop in another country that's making them.

I know what you mean Jon. It's hard to find something made in America. I was going to say earlier that the sad thing is that this thread probably wnt surprise anyone.

I have an Idea for a poll that I've been in debate about with a friend of mine.

As my grandpa would say, its as if America went out of business.

I saw on the news the other night how we now import garlic from China.   It is bad enough that our shrimpers and catfish farms are hurting from Asian imports, but comeon.  Is it really that much cheaper to import garlic?  Dosen't it have something to do with our gov. subsidary programs or what?
