Ok so it might sound crazy but I bought a extd cab 2 months ago and I ended up going this weekend and getting a crew cab. I thought I wouldnt want the crew cab but after I bought the extd I was kicking my self.

They worked with me and I lost on it but I ended up losing 1500 . I ended up around 25 extra bucks a month but I felt its work it cause this truck I am going to keep till it does not run.

I do not believe that they would give him a new crew cab that normally stickers for about $ 2,000 more for a $ 1,500 difference when trading in a used extended cab. The only way this would work would be if the crew cab had a lot fewer options than the extended cab and had correspondingly lower sticker price by at least $ 2,000.

When I bought my truck and inquired about trading it in several weeks later on one with more options ($ 3k sticker difference) the bastards wanted $ 7k difference from me. So I said no. And that was crew cab to crew cab Z71.

If I had it to do over again I think I would be in a crew. I like not only the added room but the looks better than what I have. I settled based on the extended cab being on the lot and a very motivated dealer. Congrats on getting what you REALLY want.
