Engine Hour Meter

So I was toggling through my DIC the other day and noticed that the engine hour meter reset it self. I remember seeing aprox. 2400 hours or so on it (truck has 80K miles) and now it reads 28 hours. Any idea what happened? Should I be worried about something failing? I didn't do anything to it (all stock computer with no tune or anything) and no dead battery recently

Thanks, I read this forum daily and havent seen anything on this before. Never thought of searching for it. I see 9 million post a day about leveling kits so....I didnt think this was common.

Why do you think there are 9 million posts a day about leveling kits? Because no one thinks of searching for the answers to their questions, or they fail to realize that the answers to their questions are the same as the answers to others' questions even though those other people didn't phrase the question exactly the same way.

 

Someone has to be the first one to choose the search button over the new thread button.... it's the only way the situation is going to change or improve.
