Vortec Max, Bb Tune & Corsa Touring

I've decided to change the exhaust on my 07 Sierra and get the Corsa Touring. I've read just about every thread I can find on the sport and touring and the touring is what will work best for me.

 

Although I know there usually isn't any difference when adding an aftermarket exhaust to the stock 6.0, I was curious if anyone knows if the BB tune (premium gas) gives the touring a different or slightly louder exhaust note. Or if you can tell any difference power wise, good or bad. Only other mod I have (if you want to call it that) is a K&N CAI. I also had Justin turn

AFM off.

 

So, any difference stock + touring against BB tune + touring??

In my experience, the touring only gets louder as you add engine mods (ie. cam, headers, blower). I loved my touring.

Thanks Jenna, I do remember seeing you mention this before now. I just wasn't sure how much difference a tuned vs a untuned engine would make in the sound of an aftermarket exhaust.

In my personal opinion, you won't notice a difference in the tone with/without a tune.

I basically your exact set up...2007 Vmax, BB tune (AFM turned off, but had it on originally with the corsa) and a Corsa Touring.

 

I love the touring and did not notice it being any louder with a tune.
