Quick question, For some reason I now have my tabs for my open windows showing up just to the left of the notification area at the right end of the task bar. Any ideas how to get it back to the left as it usually shows up?

Quick question, For some reason I now have my tabs for my open windows showing up just to the left of the notification area at the right end of the task bar. Any ideas how to get it back to the left as it usually shows up?

 

In all my computer programing experience, I've never heard of this problem. I'll check data banks for any registry errors.

After analysis of your IP adress, I have determined the fix.

 

---=== To get your tabs back to the far left. ===---

 

- right click your task bar and press properties.

- Then uncheck the box where it says "lock taskbar" and hit apply.

- you should now see the small dots to the left of your open programs on the taskbar.

- Hold the dots to the left of the tabs you want to move and then drag 'em to the left side of the task bar. (you'll have double arrow)

- when you got your tabe where you want them, right click your taskbar and press proterties.

- Now, check the "lock taskbar"-box and your dots should disappear and your tabs should be where you placed them.

Thanks, I tried that earlier, but didn't keep going after the tabs first stretched. I've got it now after dragging it again. Thanks again, I need to keep my dog away from the keyboard. He was dancing across the laptop the other night.
