Ok where did you get that red bowtie for your grill? And where can I find a billet or speed or some type of grill insert for less than $100? Thanks

I painted the bowtie with some Plasti-Kote Victory Red paint that I bought at Advance Auto Parts.

 

 

 

www.truckperformance.com has a big selection of speed and billet grilles for your truck.  A few under $100.00, but more just a little bit higher.

I have been looking, but I cant find that PlastiKote stuff.  We dont have an  Advance Auto Parts around here I guess ??? Is there a place to buy the stuff online?

I'm not sure, but Advance Auto Parts has a website.  You may be able to order it from there, but I'm not sure.

Well there closest store is like 200 miles from me.  Do you know the part# by chance?

The number on the can say 1579.  Hope that helps.

I did mine w/ duplicolor paint (in victory red) from checker auto, and the color match was great.  This isn't the best pic of it, but all I could find at the moment.

I saw quite a bit of Duplicolr stuff at the autopart stores.  Which kind am I looking for.  I saw about 5 different reds, but no victory red.

any color of red will do  just pick one that you think will match it the best

 

walmart carries good paint,  any fast dry will work

 

 

I myself used an airbrush and dupont paint but those who know me know why lol
