Corsa Db Muffler Swap

So ever since I got my truck a little over a year ago I've wanted a meaner more aggressive sound from my truck. After I put the lift and everything I REALLY wanted a more aggressive sound to go with the look. I always wanted the Corsa sport exhaust and loved the way it sounded but with a body lift the whole system would look weird comming out the back of my truck that low and I came to like the no tailpipe look after cutting my stock tailpipe. I was really close to buying a magnaflow muffler since Corsa doesn't sell just the mufflers by themselves anymore but then thanks to 08z71sierra who found a few Corsa db black mufflers I quickly jumped on it and had it installed. I decided to go with a turndown right out the muffler. So far I really like it. Much more deeper than stock and much more aggressive. I am very impressed and very happy. As far as drone I think if I would have ran a tailpipe there wouldn't be any but since I have it dumped right away I do get some but I don't mind and it's not bad at all. Just a low resonance at certain RPM's. It's quiet as a baby up until it hits about 1600 RPM's or so then quiets back down around 2300 I think it was. So between those two ranges is when I get some drone which is about cruising speeds of 75+ which is only when I'm cruising on the interstate. Below 75 is nice and quiet.

I did take some in cab videos of me driving but the video's aren't even close to what it sounds like in person so unless some are really wanted I won't upload them because I feel they are kind of "false" information. Here is a video of start up and some revs. Sorry about the foggy lens. I didn't realize till I put it on my computer and didn't feel like going back outside. Will try to get a drive by clip maybe.

Oh and it's a Corsa db 8332544 2.5 in and out. Let me know what you think

LSU Dark Night, i think me and you were pretty much in the same boat in terms of our hunt for the Corsa muffler. Glad we didnt have to go with our second choice of Magnaflow and thanks to 08z71sierra, we both got what we really wanted!

Like I said there is some drone but I'm almost positive that it is because I have it dumped right after the muffler. And yes it is louder because of the new muffler and because it is dumped.
