$1000 To Spend On A System?

Well guys I'd like to get a system for my new 2010 Silvy CC Z71 4x4. I have a Budget of $1000 dollars and would like this to be in a box made to fit under the rear seats. Im thinking 2 10's would be plenty and would like a face/deck with a remote. Other than that guys could you all help me make some good choices im open to all and figure 1K could get me a pretty nice system. Thanks Mike

I spent about 1k on mine, I got a 2000watt infintiy amp, 2 12's and a ten, and a jvc headunit. I love it. I've also got some infinity tweeters in the a -pillars.

I just peiced a system together for the same budget....Here it is

 

Pioneer 4200DVD (I got one heck of a deal on this brand new)

2 sets of Polk Audio DB651's- Crutchfield had them for 50 bucks a pair

Pioneer 3400 amp

Ported JL Audio 8w3v3 sub

 

Even with the dash kit, antenna, and metra axxess interface I actually only spent just a tad over 800 bucks and did all the installing myself. But about to upgrade to a set of DB6501 comps and move the amp to front stage and adding a 250/1 amp to the sub.

ebay is your friend. I just bought a set of Rockford T2 components for $200 brand new and they normally run around $400 just purchase from seller with lots of positive ratings
