Another Leveling ?

Hey guys I was just wondering one thing. I have read many many posts on leveling kits and see 1.5,2.0 and 2.5 kits. I was wondering which one would make my truck level. I see many that the rear is sagging, which I hate, it makes it look like a Ford Super Duty. Is 2.0 good, or 1.5. I do not want to put in rear blocks. Thanks

every truck is different. measure yours to see what the difference is front vs. rear and get that leveling kit

When I researched leveling kits, I decided on the Rought Country 2" kit. It was easy to install (under the strut), a quality product, and LOW COST!!

Here are my before/after measurements:

Before Measurements: LF-36 3/8", RF-36 3/8", LR-38 3/4", RR-39"

After Measurement: LF-38 1/4", RF-38 1/4", LR-38 7/8", RR-39"

I gained an even 1 7/8", and maintained a slight rake of 5/8" - 3/4"

Not to hijack, but how hard is the RC kit to install? Is it a DIY or not?

It would be a whole lot faster if you had a hand! Took me and a buddy of mine about 45 minutes all together.

An alignment is absolutely necessary?

It is recommended. Much rather pay 40 bucks for an alignment than 900 dollars for new tires in 5 months.

Hi guys

I am new to this forum. I have been over at denalitrucks.com

I just bought a new 2010 GMC Sierra Denali AWD

I purchased the RC 2" kit and had my GMC dealer install it and align it.

I have had my RC 2" leveling kit installed a few days now.

I have to say that the ride quality did not change at all, and feels awesome.

However, today, I was cruising at 70MPH on the interstate, and I floored it to feel and hear my 6.2L kick in.

When I did this, I felt some vibration in the front end that I did not feel prior to the leveling kit being installed.

I don't feel any vibration from a dead stop.

I only feel this vibration when mashing the s**t out of the gas pedal at 60-70 MPH +

Can other Sierra Denali AWD owners with this kit please chime in and tell me if you feel any vibration?

Did my GMC dealer do something wrong?

do u think it could be something with u having a full time AWD and at those high speed when u get on it that it could lift the front end even more and cause the axles to bind up a little and cause a vibration? Thats why i would like to see if i could get the parts fro m RC 3" lift kit that drop the front end axle and get the angles of the axles better.

i would like to see if they would just sell the parts that drop the diff and the skid plate and use it with a level 2" or 2.5" kit to keep the axle levels closer to stock  less ware

These parts i dont need any of the other crap!
