I have a quick question, I wasnt sure where to post this so I will ask it here. I was wondering I have a 1989 chevy silverado with 1 cat I was wondering is it possible to put the dual straight pipes on it? I am new to this so correct me if im wrong, because I am going to bring it in soon to make it sound good. Everything is stock in it, if that helps. Sorry I probably make no sense and don't know what I am talking about because I am very new to this stuff. I just saw my friend with straight pipes and I want some now. Also where I live its not illegal but I want a cat on there, I only have 1, so is it possible with 1? Thank you.

If you're gonna leave the cat on there, then just cut the muffler off and weld in a straight piece of pipe. But, it won't be true duals with just one cat, so it might not sound great.
