are you planning on doing some pit moves or what? i'm not a fan of guards and such as they bend quite easily and just add weight to the truck

Let's just call it "just incase"

Do they really bend that easy?? Even if made with steel??

I've had some westin push bars on the front, and really they are not for pushing. Got in an accident (wasn't my fault) but the push bars were totalled. I like the look of certain ones but I think the majority of them are more for looks and mounting lights than pushing....

Sounds like you are getting ready to take road rage to the next level.

Keep in mind that if you get one up there that's REALLY robust, it's going to make the airbags much less sensitive. In other words, you're going to have to hit something a LOT harder to make them go off.

i have a trail FX brushguard and it has been great for me. i can see how it could easily bend in if its hit in the right spot but mine has actually saved my grille, headlights, and lower valence or whatever its called. i have hit trees and fences and trashcans and it only has little scratches. i slammed into the corner of a nissan versa at about 20mph and the bumper just had a scratch that buffed out and the brushguard actually absorbed the hit and saved my headlights and grill. i was amazed. thats just my opinion
