under the backseat of my '06 sierra I have two Rockford Fosgate P1S410 subs powered by a Rockford Fosgate p300 amp. Nothing too crazy, won't blow the doors off the hinges type power, just enough to add some kick to my tunes everynow and then. Upfront I have a Clarion NX409 head unit. Ask and I can upload a picture of it if you would like.

I have one 12" JL sub with a JL 250 watt amp under the driverside back seat. Works for me. JL is running a special that if you buy their amp they will throw in one or two of their subs free.

I have a 12 and a ten in parallel bridged to an 2000 watt amp, needless to say, I have to run cooling fans or it will overheat.

I got 2 10"kenwoods in a custom box to sit under the seat. The box is formed to the floor and seat so it fits perfect. i have those going to a 300w amp. I have no complaints with it.

10" Pioneer under back seat in subthump box powered by 250 watt older Jenson amp. It's enough base for my needs - sometimes a little too much. I added some insulation inside the box to keep the base from sounding "boomy." Also have low pass filter inline with amp.

you should pull your back seat out and get a ported box for the both and have them sit on the floor.

Your truck almost didn't pull that ranger out, think god you're putting a bigger engine in it. Not a good idea to pull in reverse, as your tranny is not designed for full power in reverse.
