Thoughts On Rc 7.5" Lift

yeah i know! That 3 kit just puts to much of a angle on the upper a-arm. I wanna see someones pics of it on their truck. Also why are people pay so much more for other name brands with same or less lift

RC just doesn't produce the same quality suspension systems as the other industry leaders, and that is why people pay twice as much for a well engineered and quality product. There is a reason that people say, "You get what you pay for." The 7.5" kit only drops the diff 5", so it's like stacking a 2.5" spacer on their 5" kit, which maxes out the suspension. In fact, you have to cut off the droop stops so the UCA's don't hit. And 6.5" "Anti-axle wrap" blocks? You would be better off with a smaller block and a AAL. This is nothing but someone at RC thinking it was a good idea to add a bigger spacer and bigger block to their 5" kit (which is an ok kit). I wouldn't touch it.

There is a ton of guys running this setup that I know of and none of them have had any problems. The kit is definitely maxed out as it is and your angles are going to suck. I would recommend it only if you don't plan on driving it very hard. Talk to Jon at Southern Truck Performance (479-629-4407), he'll get you the best price around and he's a super nice guy to do business with.

anyone have any pics of the kit installed. i mean i can modify the diff drop to get a inch or to lower for that price! This thing is a street only truck. It will only be in 4x4 if needed, snow, ice, or dirt road gets nasty

I like my kit, but HATE the rear blocks. Just garbage, well built, but make the rear ride like a tractor. Il be throwing those blocks out someday and upgrading.
