Best Lift For Truck Still To Fit In 7 Ft Garage?

Recommended Posts

Hey guys,

I currently have leveling kit, and stock 17s with 285's. I plan on keeping the 17 inch size, and probably doing different rims eventualy in 17x9s and keeping the 285 70's. Whats the best option for 17 inch rims with 285 70s and lifting the truck and not having to worry about clearing the garage. Thanks!

I have the Rancho 4", and still fit in my garage. I'd measure your truck and go from there...

Im at 39.5 and 40 in back right now. Your tires are 32s dont think my 33s would make that much of difference with the rancho.

so if you clear your garage by at least 4-5", if you go with the Rancho you'll be good.

PERSONALLY, I like the Rancho, ease of installation and the quality of the components.

I fit in mine with my setup. My roommate fits in it too BARELY with his 6" lift on 35's. It's pretty scary putting his in the garage. He has like less than half an inch of clearance when putting it in.

Garages are different.. some have less clearance especially depending on where the garage door rests.

I'd just pull your truck partially in the garage and measure how much clearance you have. I'd leave yourself at least an extra inch of room since your lift height could also vary. So if you want a 4" lift.. make sure you have 6" of clearance since most 4" lifts measure closer to 5".

I did, I have 5 to the sat atten, and around more if i removed it. Im on a detailing forum and a guy removes his everytime he pulls in says it just comes off in two seconds. Hes on 6 inch lift and 35s and he backs in instead of pulling in so he misses the garage motor. Id rather not be that close tho haha

Keeping the same size 33s

...You say that now, but just wait until you look at it and say "man, it would look a lot tougher if it had just a lil bit bigger tires"... :)
