I recently ordered a rough country 2" leveling kit then I kinda starting to think maybe I should go 2.5 so I ordered the CCM 2.5 I will have them both this week and I am not sure which to put on???? Any insight would be good with past experience with these kits Thanks Fellas

it depends if you want it to sit a little higher or not. the .5" probably won't make much of a difference in stress on your angles as long as you don't go more than 2.5"

The RC kit is easier to install, but may still leave you with a 1/2" of rake. The CCM should get you completely level, but will take some more time and patience to put on.

I have the 2.5 on my truck and am happy with it. there is a pic of it on my profile if you want to have an idea of what it would look like

I was going 2.5" i had a few off road shops say they wouldnt well me anything more then a 2". They say 2.5" will be fine but will ware out parts faster. So i got 2" at a deal on one use. I thinl i have like 1/4" or rake. I have also seen and herd of 2.5" making it sit higher then the rear on some trucks. 2" is super easy to install.

All i did on install

pull tires

lossen sway bar almost all the way off

Take two lower shock bolts off

pop upped ball join off

put spacer on then put it all back and done.

Its nice to have some rake incase you hauling something or extra stuff in bed. Plus ive noticed these trucks when going down tbe road the wind pushes down the rear some.

2" already makes the truck look high in the front. 2,5 is over kill, and like its been said that extra half an inch will just make it that much rougher of a ride and extra strain on parts.
