hey guys, i have a 2003 gmc sierra slt , its a 5.3 litre, i am wondering how to tell which engine and transmission package i have in the truck ? thanks alot in advance

open the glove compartment and there should be a list of codes on a sticker, each code corresponds to an option you can google rpo codes to find out what each one means

The motor should be a LM7, just a run of the mill 5.3L check your glove box

The transmission is without a doubt the M30 aka 4L60e

Engine package? It's 5.3 with a 4L60e. These trucks came with a pretty standardized engine trans setup.
