No give us some insight on HOW you did it Programming issues? Or just straight across swapped radios? Any complications with anything like phone, or OnStar?

yes, bought it off ebay.

Brought it to my dealer for programming no problems, very easy straight forward swap plug and play.

Then add a mini b male to male 6' usb cable and your done.

Usb receptacle was $30 dust cover $5 and 6 disk CD changer with usb $65.

Had no effect at all on my onstar bluetooth that I install.

I am very happy now this is the way these trucks should have come out in 07 with bluetooth and usb from the factory.

The factory steering wheel controls all work as they should for the usb and bluetooth.

They actually didn't charge me but said the would normally charge $30

I was going to get new 2010 interior but I decided against it cause my dealer said it really wasn't that much better than what I already have and I would agree.

So my dealer offered me some other options to try to keep me happy, that I wasn't interested in so they kind of owed me a favor.

I did not even buy the truck from them

(small town dealer)

But they have been super helpful and treat me like I did buy it from them, I will definitely try to buy / work with them in the future, some of the best customer service I have ever received and this my first GMC , I have always bought Chevy and went to a different dealer in the past.

I GOT THE SAME USB STUFF. BY THE WAY HOW DID YOU GET THE RING AND COVER OFF??? I GOT THE INSIDE POWER PIECE OUT OK BUT CANNOT FIGURE OUT THE COVER PIECE. DID NOT WANT TO BREAK IT.

not sure what your talking about? If you have the power outlet out the cover should come out easy. I ordered new parts and left my two power outlets alone and put the usb in the ashtray
