Stay with Dex if it has Dex in it right now. If it has the "green" in it and you want to switch to Dex, then flush it very thoroughly.

Like they said, stick with Dexcool. Also, make sure you use distilled water to mix with the antifreeze if you dont buy the pre-mixed.

What's the deal with distilled water? Always used it to fill up the old batteries, but never heard of it going into the radiator.

Basically for the same purpose. The distilled water does not have the minerals in it that can cause build up inside the coolant system. It is just plain water.
