Which Viscosity(Formula) of Mobil 1 Do You Use?

Which Viscosity/Formula do you use. The reason I ask is my 1997 350 had 10W-30 recommended.  It seems like most people have told me, in the 5.3L, are using 5W-30. I just noticed this 0W-30 for best fuel economy. I just wonder how that would do in the Texas heat?

I use 5W-30 in mine.  Works great in the hellish desert here, so that is good enough for me.   :thumb:

I use 5-30 in my 4.8. Seems to be doing well.

I use 5W30 exclusively in all of my vehicles.  Not gonna chance it with other viscosities.

I run 15/50 due to the supercharger - run a mix as the temp drops - seems fine.

15w-50 in my race car

Nothing but A/C filters

I run 5w-30 year around, but I doubt you'd hurt anything by running 10w-30, especially in the Summer heat in TX.  

 

I guess I'd stay away from 0w-30, if it was me, living in a hot climate.  Guess I wouldn't risk it for what small increment of fuel economy you might see - just having synthetic should help some anyways.

I use 5W-30 and a Mobil 1 filter changed every 5000 miles in my Houston, Texas Silverado.

My 98 5.7L (350) calls for 5w-30 but I run the 10w-30 high mileage. I have 74,000 on mine.
