Poor Dodge Ram....

Coming home down the Tri-State, this 94-01 style Ram 4x4 goes flying by me and not to far behind him, an exploder.  Anyway, I let them go.

I get onto the East West tollway and low and behold who should I come up on...Mr. Ram.

Well, I have I-Pass, so I coast through the I-Pass lane at 30mph, thanks to some moron in a Maxima thats afraid to go through any faster.  He goes through the automatic change lanes.

He catches up to me in the left lane behind this Maxi-pad.  As the Maxi-pad creeps forward enough in the left lane, he opens up enough space in the middle lane for me to slide over which I do...very casually mind you.  The Ram once he gets enough room to do so, does so also.  He stayed behind me until we had both cleared the Maxi-Pad.  Thing was, apparently to him, I wasn't going fast enough, so he slides over to the left hand lane in front of the Nissan.  Well being one to kindly oblige a fellow motorist when I'm going too slow for them, I buried the pedal to the carpet...the result...I walked away handily from Mr. Ram.

Seeing as though I figured Mr. Ram got it out of his system, I slowed back down to a more sane and sensible 75'ish.  Well, low and behold, Mr. Ram catches back up, pulls in back behind me in the left lane (I've since moved into the left lane) as traffic was bottled up again.  Once again, when I had room to squirm over into the middle lane, I did so.  Mr. Ram followed, once again, in a vain attempt to pass, the little ol 496, made sure to drill home the point.  Result?  I walked away handily again.  From this point on, until I seceeded my lead when I had to exit, he stayed quietly at a safe distance behind me at 75mph.  For awhile, I was preparing for a third a$$kicking around Naperville Rd. as I thought he might make a run at it coming down a slight grade.  But he didn't.  I exited and went on my merry way.

It was dark, so I couldn't tell if it was a 1500 or 2500, but it was 4x4, ext cab, 6.5 bed.  So it was comprable in size.  The only variable was what chassis and engine he had.

I busted a 96 dodge ram 5.9L 2wd the other day coming home from work. Hell I don't know what got into me thinking my slow ass 350 4wd with 285's could even be in his high performance league. He started scaring me at the first light coming down hwy 74 in Rockingham. At the second light I was so scared I had to mat the Z. I think fear made us pull away from him but 5 truck lengths by time we got to the third light. So by now I'm terrified and turn off to the by-pass. He follows and then I know this massive power house is going to blow me off the road so I mat it again trying to escape the monster. Well fear is a great motivator. I pulled even farther away, by time I got to 100 i couldn't even see him. I thought I was safe until I got off the by-pass and sat at the stop sign waiting to slink home. He pull up behind me. I cringe, as we pull out to head back to town he stayed well behind me I guess he smell the fear................. Well as you can see the moral of the story is don't mess with a scared GM..........LMAO

:D
